I hold a UK Athletics qualification in Leadership in Running Fitness, I have competed in 5km, 10km, Half Marathon, Marathon events, Ultra Marathons, I have also done Super Sprint, Sprint, Olympic distance, Half Ironman, Ironman Triathlons, so I have completed every running and triathlon distance
I am also an Advanced Sports and Exercise Nutritional Advisor
We run regularly at Glossop parkrun, and once a month we do a bit or parkrun tourism and travel over to a different local event
We are a very friendly group and encourage people towards their goals
We have two groups - Intermediate group and Improvers group. The main aim of the improvers group is to encourage people who are new to running and help them achieve their goals be it a 5k, 10k, lose weight, improve fitness. The Intermediate group runs a bit faster, a bit further, and members are aiming for 10km, Half Marathon, Marathons
We have some people who are looking to lose weight, improve fitness, meet like minded people, looking to run a 5k
We have a very good social running scene where people arrange informal runs to practice what they've learnt in the structured sessions
